About the Artist

I grew up in Maryland working on horse farms until attending Boston University's Program in Artisanry, where I majored in Metalsmithing and received a four year Bachelors Degree in Artisanry. I studied metal fabrication, casting, enameling, forming, raising, forging and many other metal working techniques. My work is in precious metals Sterling Silver and Gold. I also work in precious and semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski pearls and crystals and horsehair.

After a long life detour, in October of 2008 I picked up my tools from my BU college training, where I graduated in 1980. I began to create jewelry again. I really enjoy creating Sterling Silver renditions from photographs and can feel the animals spirits coming alive in their Sterling counterparts. I particularly enjoy working with nature and animals, including dogs, ferrets, big cats, foxes, wolves, dragon flies, elephants and many others. I also work with fantasy images, like dragons, and fairies. As you see in my work I can also recreate objects like sleighs and driving carts. Just about anything. I work from photos, your logo or art work. I also recreate people, and can create from your photos you riding your horse, or driving them. Feel free to contact me with your own creative ideas.

I hope you enjoy watching my journey as my jewelry evolves. I will recreate some favorite designs, but each is one of a kind, all the work is done by hand, and no two will be identical.

And be sure to join my Facebook fan page where I update the site with new work the most often.
